It is with great pride that we introduce our strongest belt ever, the new uni AMB.

Since the late 90’s uni(-chains) has been a recognised high quality brand in automotive and heavy duty conveying applications.

With the uni CPB and XLB we have equipped many automotive plants with a large variety of plastic modular belt conveyor solutions, many off which are still being used today.

In 2012 we have introduced our innovative uni CSB belt which was later followed by our uni ACB belt. Both these belts are based on a patented insert technology which allows us to increase wear resistance and guarantee ESD safe conveyor belts without compromising strength or impact resistance. These belts also feature an offset pin position to allow for more wear area underneath the pin.

Den uni AMB is our latest development using the patented insert technology and features an impressive 180,000N/m permissible tensile strength and will be available in a choice of standard materials such as regular POM-NL and flame-retardant POX-FR.

With the electrification in the automotive industry moving forward at high speed we recognise challenges for existing and new conveyor systems having to handle the much higher loads of produced electric vehicles.

Our new uni AMB is the answer to this challenge!

uni AMB

With easy retrofit options replacing our own uni XLB or CSB as well as other competitor’s belts we can solve belt overload risks by significantly increasing the conveyor belt capacity.

The uni AMB sprockets, using our standard unique hinge driven concept, have an impressive strength of 15,000N per sprocket which ensures that the drive setup will always match the capacity of the belt.

The uni AMB belt accessories include extremely strong moulded car pushers, wear plate inserts, and electrical conductive-EC-inserts.

Whether you need to transmit power or move a product we will keep your business moving.

Ammeraal Beltech has just completed the acquisition of BCMS and TRANSITECH, two distribution companies for conveyor belts in France. BCMS and TRANSITECH are located in Castres and Sees, France, and have been servicing the belting industry for over 15 years.

The goal of this acquisition is to increase our penetration in the French market. In addition, the companies’ belt fabrication capabilities will strengthen Ammeraal Beltech’s footprint and customer service levels, particularly in the south and north-west areas of the country.

BCMS - TransiTech

BCMS and TRANSITECH’s experienced and dedicated teams will be led by Yves Jozefiak (MD of BCMS & TRANSITECH). One of the company’s former owners, Mr. Laurent Severac, will remain in the company for at least 12 months to support the development of businesses and to help the transition of customers to Ammeraal Beltech’s supply chain.

Ammeraal Beltech at ProSweets

Global manufacturers of food-grade conveyor belts Ammeraal Beltech will exhibit their specialist solutions for confectionery and snacks at ProSweets Cologne, on stand H59, Hall 10.1. The span of the products’ capabilities on show is extensive — the result of a long-time focus on the special needs of the food industry. Stand visitors can therefore explore many unique answers to the confectionery industry’s safe and clean conveyor requirements, all the way along the production and packaging chain.

‘Keep confectionery moving’
As Ammeraal Beltech’s Global Food Industry Segment Manager, Giuseppe Allais, comments: ‘We offer a wide choice of application-specific belts that are keeping confectionery safely moving around the world. Good examples are our non-stick, low-friction PTFE, silicone-coated belts which work happily at all temperatures between -70 C° and up to 260 C°; and our soft-lip UltraScraper, which is metal detectable, will keep your belts clean. And then there are our Ropanyl® cooling tunnel processing belts – ideal for chocolate tempering – and the recently-introduced Soliflex PRO mini — a versatile food belting solution which combines an optimal hygiene level with reduced overall costs of ownership.’

Meet the experts at ProSweets
Giuseppe Allais is looking forward to discussing visitors’ needs and wants on the Ammeraal Beltech stand at ProSweets. ‘As well as providing the standard products from our “One-Stop Belt Shop”, we are happy to design and manufacture custom-made synthetic food-grade belts to cover every specialist requirement,’ he says. ‘They can convey your smallest, lightest chocolates as well as your heaviest trays. Of course, our belting solutions are also designed to meet your HACCP programmes and comply with all the main international food standards.’

Ammeraal Beltech’s participation once again in ProSweets is a commitment to a continuing in-depth focus on food conveyor belting, and an opportunity for confectioners and snack product manufacturers to view the choices offered for their needs.

It’s a pleasure to announce that Ammeraal Beltech just completed the acquisition of T&T Inc.

T&T Inc. is based in Anyang-si, South Korea, and has been serving the belting industry for over 18 years.

The goal of this acquisition is to increase our penetration in the Korean market. The organisation has a strong focus on quality and customer service, which matches perfectly the strategy of Ammeraal Beltech.

What is more, T&T’s strengths in the airport, logistics and treadmill segments will provide opportunities, as Ammeraal Beltech has strong product propositions for these industries.

J.H. Kim, T&T’s current Managing Director will be joining Ammeraal Beltech / AMMEGA Korea as Vice-President, once the two companies are fully integrated.

It is a great pleasure to announce that Ammeraal Beltech and Megadyne, leaders in lightweight conveying and power transmission belting, are opening a new joint company located at Nagoya, Japan. The legal entity name of this new company is AMMEGA JAPAN Co. Ltd.

This office opening in Japan is an important step in our strategy to increase market coverage in the APAC region and to better serve customers in this major global economy.

In view of their well-established reputations in their respective markets and their different channel-to-market strategies, which will remain unchanged, our two strong brand names – Ammeraal Beltech and Megadyne – will remain the main commercial facing entities towards customers.

Energy Saving and longer belt life

An innovative, energy saving, and sustainable conveyor belting solution for today’s challenging and demanding airports and logistics industries, AMMdurance, is appropriately being launched by global belting manufacturer Ammeraal Beltech on Stand 1570 B5 at Inter Airport Europe.

AMMdurance belts bring ground-breaking new engineered functionalities for energy savings, high performance and endurance.

A trio of prime benefits
AMMdurance brings a trio of valuable new elements to the conveyor belting process of today.

  • First and foremost, its specially-developed dry fabric coating drastically reduces friction, resulting in consistent energy savings.
  • Secondly, unlike silicone, its dry fabric coating protects the underside of the belt from contamination, and from pollution and subsequent shrinkage which minimises maintenance and downtime.
  • Thirdly, AMMdurance belts will resultantly reward users with lower total costs – and higher profitability.

More energy savings, same industry-favourite low-noise performance

With airports and logistic companies facing growing pressure to reduce energy consumption and emissions, AMMdurance belting represents a unique sustainability solution that does not in any way compromise performance or profitability. Importantly, it does not compromise the low-noise performance of Ammeraal Beltech belting that has been recognised and valued by airports and logistics companies around the world for many years.

Ammeraal Beltech’s extensive global ‘One-Stop Belt Shop’ portfolio will also feature on the company’s stand at Inter Airport Europe, where the Ammeraal Beltech technical team will be looking forward to discussing visitors’ task-specific needs.
