Smooth Drive – High Speed – Superior Performance

Ammeraal Beltech introduces the next-gen RAPPLON® High Performance Flat Belts for the Logistics Industry, designed to deliver maximum reliability in all processing steps, whether it’s coping with substantial temperature variations, fully loaded stops and starts, incline and decline sections, or any other operational or environmental challenges.

These new black belts are fit-and-forget solutions that enable simplified conveyor designs, e.g. our Elastic Belt solution requires no take-up system, offering durability and precision performance.

Heavy Duty

Den Heavy Duty Roller Drive Belt was developed specifically for use with heavy loads and long transport sections; its Aramid fabric tensile member gives it extra strength to handle these demanding Live Roller applications. The Polyurethane cover material is extremely wear-resistant and the belt’s remarkable flexibility contributes to its overall energy efficiency.

Light roller drive Belts

For everyone who dislikes downtime, the new black Light Roller Drive Belts, available in a number of standard thicknesses, ranging from 1.6 mm to 4.5 mm, offer reliably efficient performance over a long service life. Made with Fabric tensile members, the belts are impervious to moisture and display exceptional dimensional stability.

Like other RAPPLON® belts, the Light and Heavy Duty Roller Drive black Belts are permanently anti-static, so they aren’t prone to maintenance issues such as those stemming from dust build-up. They’re also designed as QuickSplice belts, making any splice as simple and as quick to do as possible, with failure-free joints and a seam area that results in uniform thickness over the entire length of the belt.

The new range of Elastiske bælter are designed for slider-bed applications or belt-over-roller conveyors, and can run bi-directionally, making them ideal for use with AGV robot load-carriers, enabling next-generation logistics robots to load or unload goods in advanced fulfilment centres or warehouses. What’s more, they’re extremely energy-efficient.

Ammeraal Beltech, a member of the AMMEGA Group, announced plans to expand their US Modular manufacturing operations in Reading, PA. This announcement is particularly exciting because it follows last month’s news of the companies plan for a new multi-phased greenfield conveyor belt production plant in Buford, GA.

“This announcement further supports our growth strategy and our ambition to be closer to the markets we serve offering reduced supply chain lead times and outstanding service to our OEM and distributor partners”, according to Steve Facetti, Vice President of Marketing, AMMEGA.

Ammeraal Beltech, a member of the AMMEGA Group and a leading global manufacturer of Lightweight Conveyor Belting, has announced plans for a new multi-phased greenfield production plant in Buford, Georgia.

This manufacturing expansion supports the projected growth of Ammeraal Beltech in the Americas region. The state-of-the-art facility will produce a full range of Synthetic Conveyor Belts.

We are excited to expand our Americas’ infrastructure to provide a new level of service and response to our distributor and OEM customer base”, according to Niels van den Boogert, Vice President and General Manager of the Ammeraal Beltech Conveying Solutions business.

Currently, Ammeraal Beltech has US operations in Skokie IL, Reading PA, Jefferson PA, and Grand Prairie TX.

Manufacturing in Buford is slated to begin this Fall and hiring for this site is underway.

Manufacturing of RAPPLON® High Performance Flat Belts is our competence since the late 50s, always located in Rapperswil-Jona, Switzerland.

RAPPLON® as a trademark is registered since 1957, when a wide range of Polyamide core belts have been launched.

In 1993 a new production plant was built to apply new technologies and set new quality standards, considering future market demands. The history of QuickSplice items started soon after.

One of our goals in 2021 was to republish our brand for High Performance Flat Belts and promote our pride in it as well as the origin and quality of the products. For this reason, it is with great pride and pleasure that we can now present our new RAPPLON® logo — trademarked and registered since beginning of January 2021.

For the lettering, rounded letters were used to emphasise the flexibility of our products and their wide application range.

Additionally the logo is colour divided to highlight the wordplay of:

  • RAPPerswil (hometown in Switzerland)
  • and nyLON (the tensile member material which boosted the flat belt business).

It is with great pride that we introduce our strongest belt ever, the new uni AMB.

Since the late 90’s uni(-chains) has been a recognised high quality brand in automotive and heavy duty conveying applications.

With the uni CPB and XLB we have equipped many automotive plants with a large variety of plastic modular belt conveyor solutions, many off which are still being used today.

In 2012 we have introduced our innovative uni CSB belt which was later followed by our uni ACB belt. Both these belts are based on a patented insert technology which allows us to increase wear resistance and guarantee ESD safe conveyor belts without compromising strength or impact resistance. These belts also feature an offset pin position to allow for more wear area underneath the pin.

Den uni AMB is our latest development using the patented insert technology and features an impressive 180,000N/m permissible tensile strength and will be available in a choice of standard materials such as regular POM-NL and flame-retardant POX-FR.

With the electrification in the automotive industry moving forward at high speed we recognise challenges for existing and new conveyor systems having to handle the much higher loads of produced electric vehicles.

Our new uni AMB is the answer to this challenge!

uni AMB

With easy retrofit options replacing our own uni XLB or CSB as well as other competitor’s belts we can solve belt overload risks by significantly increasing the conveyor belt capacity.

The uni AMB sprockets, using our standard unique hinge driven concept, have an impressive strength of 15,000N per sprocket which ensures that the drive setup will always match the capacity of the belt.

The uni AMB belt accessories include extremely strong moulded car pushers, wear plate inserts, and electrical conductive-EC-inserts.

Whether you need to transmit power or move a product we will keep your business moving.

Ammeraal Beltech has just completed the acquisition of BCMS and TRANSITECH, two distribution companies for conveyor belts in France. BCMS and TRANSITECH are located in Castres and Sees, France, and have been servicing the belting industry for over 15 years.

The goal of this acquisition is to increase our penetration in the French market. In addition, the companies’ belt fabrication capabilities will strengthen Ammeraal Beltech’s footprint and customer service levels, particularly in the south and north-west areas of the country.

BCMS - TransiTech

BCMS and TRANSITECH’s experienced and dedicated teams will be led by Yves Jozefiak (MD of BCMS & TRANSITECH). One of the company’s former owners, Mr. Laurent Severac, will remain in the company for at least 12 months to support the development of businesses and to help the transition of customers to Ammeraal Beltech’s supply chain.
