That was what we had in mind when we came up with our latest digital innovation in predictive maintenance – AMMcare Connect.

AMMcare Connect is a smart belting solution which allows you to track the key measurements in real time and monitor belt performance and condition. 

Instead of waiting for equipment to break down or relying on fixed service intervals, you can now take advantage of digital belt maintenance tools.  

How exactly AMMcare Connect makes it possible?

AMMcare Connect integrates RFID chips in the conveyor belts. This allows us to measure belt speed, belt distance and other key performance indicators. 

It’s the first smart belting solution in the light- and medium conveyor industry! 

Our solution enables real-time tracking of belt speed, slippage, temperature, vibration, and operating history through a powerful, user-friendly live dashboard.

How to install AMMcare Connect? 

AMMcare Connect is a solution which can be retrofitted easily to existing conveyors; it does not require a connection to the machine and its controller. It can be installed quickly, operates independently and does not allow operational changes remotely to ensure peace of mind when it comes to security and business continuity. 

It’s a secure solution. Connected belt has encryption built in all devices, services and endpoints. Authentication is done through Microsoft’s Azure B2C and supports Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). 

Once installed, you can give access to all stakeholders that inspect, maintain and manage conveyors. They will get access to a dashboard for live monitoring and issue analysis and receive an email when thresholds are being exceeded at the conveyor.

To ensure detection performance in your specific production setup, we provide Dectyl XMD Test Cards. These allow you to test and validate the minimum detectable size of Dectyl belt fragments within your own food processing line.  

What‘s the smallest belt fragment that can be detected? Minimum size depends on many factors such as type of contaminants or X-ray equipment detector, belt speed, vibrations, humidity, food product, fragment shape and position; that is why there is no industry standard, which makes Ammeraal Beltech Dectyl XMD test cards unique.

Customization is key, which is why Maestro 2.0 App allows you to incorporate local splice recipes tailored to your specific requirements in addition to all of the Ammeraal synthetic belts data already included in the splice database. 

Recipe database will be maintained and automatically updated from the APP. Splice data is stored and forwarded for analysis and traceability. 

The versatility of the app extends to offline functionality through low-energy Bluetooth connectivity. It can operate without internet access, ensuring uninterrupted productivity even in remote locations or areas with poor network coverage.

Soft separation is one of the most demanding stages in food processing. The right belt can determine everything from product yield to food-safety performance. We’re excited to expand our portfolio with a new, highly durable Amsqueeze RS separator belt, designed for high-capacity and high-force machines. 

Why is Amsqueeze RS a crucial addition to the Amsqueeze belt series?  

Amsqueeze belts are process belts used across the meat, poultry, fish, and broader food industry to separate soft material from harder components. They help create base products for hamburgers, sausages, fish sticks, chicken burgers, and more, and are also widely used for de-packing and waste recovery. This includes:  

  • Desinewing meat parts,  
  • Recovering meat from bones and cartilage,  
  • Producing fish mince,  
  • Extracting pulp and juice from fruits and vegetables,  
  • Separating usable product from packaging during de-packing. 

The Amsqueeze RS (Resilient) variant was designed especially for high-capacity and high-force separators (such as pork or turkey processing). The RS version has been developed for the high-pressure soft separating machines. To achieve this, we added a combination of different coating, reinformed fabrics, and a new Chevron profile.

The capabilities include:  

  • Endless woven fabric prevents elongation, while the open structure ensures excellent adhesion and eliminates delamination.  
  • Bottom Chevron helps release meat trapped between the drum and the belt, improving food safety and preventing slippage.  
  • Special diamond profile (Ammeraal A93) gives you high grip on fatty products.  
  • New TPU formulation increases resistance to cuts and ruptures, extending belt lifetime.

In corrugated board production, every minute counts. One hour of downtime can cost between €3,000 and €5,000 in lost output – and nowhere is this risk higher than in the bridge raiser section.  

At this process step of corrugated production, belts face extreme operating conditions: 90% humidity, 90°C temperatures, and speeds over 500 m/min. Replacing a belt is complex, time-consuming, and costly.
