Global belting specialists Ammeraal Beltech will once again attend this year’s Tire Technology Expo in Hanover, 5 – 7 March, to introduce show visitors to their focussed products for the tyre industry.

Unique tyre solutions
For years, Ammeraal Beltech has worked with the tyre industry, supplying belting solutions for all the processes involved in tyre production. The company’s belting materials deliver high performance levels for conveying and processing all kinds of rubber compounds and components, and some are also excellently suited to applications outside actual conveying tasks. Examples are Ammeraal Beltech’s unique solutions for storing tyre components and/or green tyres prior to curing.

On the company’s stand at Tire Technology Expo, visitors can inspect and experience the seamless cones options for the ‘Green Tyre Tray’ and non-stick material for green tyre storage.

In fact, as Ammeraal Beltech’s Global Industry Segment Manager — Tyre, Hauke Paul, tells potential TTE visitors: ‘With our broadest range of belting solutions for the tyre industry, we have really got you covered!’

One-Stop Belt Shop
Of course, materials for separation products are only part of the company’s respected ‘One-Stop Belt Shop’, which serves the requirements of tyre production across a wide variety of applications, from the mixing area to final finishing. It includes solutions for specific rubber and tyre needs — such as materials that are heat-resistant, non-stick and easy-release — to maximise the quality of rubber compounds, tyre components and finished tyres, as well as increase machine availability and production output.

Hauke Paul and the Ammeraal Beltech team will be on hand to welcome visitors, discuss their application challenges, and advise on appropriate solutions, on Stand 10008 in Hall 21 at Tire Technology Expo 2019.

The corrugated and folding carton industry is a strong focus for global conveyor belting specialists Ammeraal Beltech, who are exhibiting at this year’s CCE International in Munich, 12 – 14 March. For this very vibrant sector of the packaging industry, the company will be featuring specialist leading-edge technology solutions that offer both high performance and reduced maintenance costs and downtime.

Performance plus efficiency
A good example is Ammeraal Beltech’s ZipLink® seamless belt system, which delivers smooth flow and enhanced production output, and is partnered by the ZipLock link belt joining system, which provides efficient linkage with much-reduced maintenance downtime.

Game-changing Two-Part Sprocket
Initially created with the needs of the corrugated board industry in mind, the innovative uni UltraFit Two-Part Sprocket System, with its interchangeable adapters, has proved to be a major engineering achievement for efficient conveying. It combines high performance with superior strength and a long service life; and replacing a broken sprocket no longer requires complex gearbox and drive shaft removals.

Multi-directional conveying

Also featured at CCE International will be the multi-directional uni QNB Ball belt, now widely employed in a variety of tasks in intralogistics, materials handling, packaging and manufacturing. The belt’s integrated rotating closed ball construction can be precisely activated or deactivated to allow for alignment, rotation, sorting, accumulation, or separation, with acceleration and deceleration of conveyor speed appropriately controlled. Belt speed can also be slowed at defined points as required, for a variety of key tasks such as inspection or sorting.

‘One-Stop Belt Shop’
Visitors to CCE International will also be able to benefit from Ammeraal Beltech’s established and well-recognised ‘One-Stop Belt Shop’. Ammeraal Beltech’s technical team look forward to discussing visitors’ needs and wants on Stand 328, Hall B6, at CCE International in Munich.

Ammeraal Beltech, leading worldwide developers and manufacturers of process and conveyor belting, headquartered in Alkmaar, the Netherlands, announces that it has acquired Synchrotech S. O. O. S. K., a distribution company for conveyor belts in Poland.

Synchrotech is located in Bydgoszcz, Poland, and has been servicing the belting industry for over 15 years.

The goal of this acquisition is to increase Ammeraal Beltech’s penetration in the Polish market. In addition, Synchrotech’s belt fabrication capabilities will strengthen Ammeraal Beltech’s footprint and customer service levels, particularly in the north and west of the country.

Tomáš Trčka, Ammeraal Beltech Country Manager in Poland: “Please join us in warmly welcoming Synchrotech into the AMMEGA family and in wishing them a great deal of future success in helping Ammeraal Beltech build its position in the market.”

Global belting specialists Ammeraal Beltech will once again attend LogiMAT in Stuttgart, 19 – 21 February 2019, to introduce show visitors to their focussed products for the broad logistics industry.

Unique logistics belting solutions

Featured at the show will be the company’s STB self-tracking belt range, as well as their uni QNB Ball multi-directional belting solution, which delivers accurate alignment or diversion of packaged goods, from paper-wrapped parcels, bubble wrap and Jiffy bags to polythene bags and even tiny packages. In the stand’s ‘Sorter Corner’, their versatile belts for cross-belt sorters will also be demonstrated.

In fact, as Shaun Pretorius — Ammeraal Beltech’s Global Industry Segment Manager Logistics — tells potential LogiMAT visitors: ‘With our logistics industry-specific sorting and distribution belting solutions, we have really got you covered!’

One-Stop Belt Shop
Of course, these pivotal logistics-centred belting products are only part of the company’s respected ‘One-Stop Belt Shop’, which serves the needs of manufacturing and distribution across a wide variety of applications, from food processing to treadmills, and includes solutions for specific intralogistics needs such as low noise, flame-retardant and anti-static materials to minimise fire risk, and impact-, abrasion-, and temperature-resistant belting.

Shaun Pretorius and the Ammeraal Beltech team will be on hand to welcome visitors and discuss their application challenges and advise on appropriate solutions, on Stand G31 in Hall 1 at LogiMAT 2019.

AMMEGA: A New Name In Belting Technology

The two world-leading suppliers in belting technology – Ammeraal Beltech and Megadyne Group – who came together in a merger in September of 2018, have taken another important step in their integration. In December of 2018, they have announced a new corporate name for their joint operations: AMMEGA.

The integration of these two companies to effectively create a new belting champion spanning industrial power transmission belting and lightweight conveyor belting is ongoing, and continues apace. The new name of AMMEGA will serve principally to unite all of its employees under a common identity and corporate vision and mission. In view of their well-established reputations in their respective markets and their different channel-to-market strategies, which will remain unchanged, their two strong brand names – Ammeraal Beltech and Megadyne – will remain as is.

“Ensuring continuity, especially in the way we serve our valued customers, is a top priority” explains Marc Maisonneuve, AMMEGA’s Corporate Marketing Director.

A new website was launched to promote AMMEGA (www.ammega.com) and to explain the rationale of the merger as well as its benefits to its customers.

Under the AMMEGA umbrella, the two brands will benefit from their synergies, and will combine their knowledge, research and development activities, business systems, and, of course, their people, to enhance their level of customer service and technology.

A mega presence
‘With over 5000 employees, more than 25 manufacturing facilities, and over 100 commercial and sales centers around the world,’ comments Stijn Vriends, CEO, ‘AMMEGA demonstrably represents a new global leader in belting, dedicated to serving its ever-broadening customer base at a time when there is dramatically-increasing demand for automation in many major industrial sectors in every geographical region. ‘We make your business move!’

Ammeraal Beltech now offers a basic range of linear Timing Belts for the Food Industry. These belts are suitable for use in direct contact with food products. The blue colour of the food linear timing belts range follows a general market trend in the Food Industry.

Rhapsody in Blue
The transport or handling of food products does not only have high demands as regards automation technology, but it also has to meet hygiene standards.

The belts have a hardness of 85 Shore A and are equipped with aramid cord and are produced without coiling noses in sealed constructions. The TPU surface is suitable for different coatings and for the welding of the cleats.

Dimensions:
