Soft separation is one of the most demanding stages in food processing. The right belt can determine everything from product yield to food-safety performance. We’re excited to expand our portfolio with a new, highly durable Amsqueeze RS separator belt, designed for high-capacity and high-force machines.

Why is Amsqueeze RS a crucial addition to the Amsqueeze belt series?

Amsqueeze belts are process belts used across the meat, poultry, fish, and broader food industry to separate soft material from harder components. They help create base products for hamburgers, sausages, fish sticks, chicken burgers, and more, and are also widely used for de-packing and waste recovery. This includes:

  • Desinewing meat parts,
  • Recovering meat from bones and cartilage,
  • Producing fish mince,
  • Extracting pulp and juice from fruits and vegetables,
  • Separating usable product from packaging during de-packing.

The Amsqueeze RS (Resilient) variant was designed especially for high-capacity and high-force separators (such as pork or turkey processing). The RS version has been developed for the high-pressure soft separating machines. To achieve this, we added a combination of different coating, reinformed fabrics, and a new Chevron profile.

The capabilities include:

  • Endless woven fabric prevents elongation, while the open structure ensures excellent adhesion and eliminates delamination.
  • Bottom Chevron helps release meat trapped between the drum and the belt, improving food safety and preventing slippage.
  • Special diamond profile (Ammeraal A93) gives you high grip on fatty products.
  • New TPU formulation increases resistance to cuts and ruptures, extending belt lifetime.

In corrugated board production, every minute counts. One hour of downtime can cost between €3,000 and €5,000 in lost output – and nowhere is this risk higher than in the bridge raiser section.

At this process step of corrugated production, belts face extreme operating conditions: 90% humidity, 90°C temperatures, and speeds over 500 m/min. Replacing a belt is complex, time-consuming, and costly.

Many producers rely on mechanical fasteners to reduce downtime. But fasteners come with trade-offs: they create weak points, risk damaging pulleys and boards, and shorten belt lifetime.

We knew there had to be a better way.

Meet ZipLink® – splice-free, fastener-free, stress-free

Proudly developed and produced in Jona, Switzerland, our new ZipLink® ZLFA056427 – Fabric EZP 10/1 01+0 Natural is purpose-built for the bridge raiser

With its innovative splice-free design, installation is fast, simple, and safe.

What makes it different?

  • Quick installation, as with all our ZipLink® belts. Join the belt within minutes using standard tools, no chemicals or electricity needed. No metal fasteners, no weak points
  • Proven durability – withstands 90°C and 90% humidity without stretching, delamination, glassing or cracking
  • Smooth cotton fabric on transport side, providing gentle transport surface
  • Black rubber on bottom side, providing positive grip on rollers

By eliminating weak points, ensuring dimensional stability, and delivering the industry’s longest service life, ZipLink® helps you:

  • Minimize downtime and replacement costs
  • Maintain consistent performance and friction throughout the belt’s lifetime
  • Protect corrugated boards
  • Gain full control over web movement, even in the toughest environments

uni SNB M2 20% open nub top is a new modular belt designed to minimize sticking and adherence of wet products, raising hygiene standards in fruit, vegetable, and seafood processing industries.

Are you wondering what makes this belt stand out? Keep reading to discover its key features, applications, and specifications!

Superior drainage and non-stick properties for optimal performance

This innovative belt sets a new industry benchmark by offering a unique combination of superior drainage and non-stick properties, ensuring optimal performance in demanding food processing environments.

Drainage capabilities – belts with perforations (also known as open belts) are required to allow air flow. However, at the same time, it is important to prevent the product from falling through the openings in the belt. That’s why uni SNB was engineered with open design, allowing better drainage but also supporting product.

Non-stick properties – in flighted belts, products often stick to the flights or belt surface and sometimes carry over into the return section of the conveyor. This leads to product loss when items fall to the floor, increased cleaning requirements, and higher cost of ownership. uni SNB nub top design features nubs that reduce adhesion of wet products to the belt surface, significantly minimizing these issues and improving overall efficiency.

Versatile applications: uni SNB nub top belt for vegetables, shrimp processing, and harsh environments

uni SNB nub top can be used in applications such as washing, de-watering, cooling, and mixing processes for vegetables, leafy greens, and other light or sticky products. It can also be used in shrimp glazing process, where it enhances hygiene and operational efficiency.

In shrimp processing, this belt can transport the product out of the water tanks on a slope without supports, so that it does not interfere with the inspection process.

Apart from non-stick features, uni SNB nub top offers enhanced durability against low temperatures, chemical exposure, and impacts, making it ideal for rigorous processing environments.

It offers dynamic open hinges and is compatible with our UltraClean hygienic sprockets. It can be ordered with side guards and/or flights and is available in both PE (Polyethylene), PP (Polypropylene) and POM materials (Polyoxymethylene), in blue or white, to meet various operational needs.

uni SNB M2 20% open nub top – the latest in hygienic modular belts for food processing

With over 60 years of experience in processing and conveying applications in the building materials sector, we’re introducing another innovation to help you transport ceramic tiles.

Currently, on the market you can find traditional thermoweldable belts. Unfortunately, these may come with a short belt lifetime because of splice failures and need frequent replacement.

In order to design a product that solves these challenges we’ve been working on with both original equipment manufacturers and end users. That’s how ZipGuide belts came to life. They go with easy and fast splicing method, have good grip and wear resistance. They are made to convey tiles through firing, handling and packaging production stages of your ceramic, designed to boost your ceramic manufacturing.

Effortless belt installation and splicing with ZipGuide belting solution

The most important feature of ZipGuide is the quick splicing and installation process on drive systems.

Switching to ZipGuide can potentially cut down belt replacement time and staffing needs by over 50%. How is that?

  • This splicing method has no weak points, so the belt is more durable and you spend less money on new belts for replacement.
  • Quick replacement means reduced downtime.
  • Easy replacement means less human errors and no need for special tools.
  • Splicing is stable and safe.
  • The installation is so easy that you don’t need assistance from external services.

Ceramics industry challenges and Ammeraal Beltech solutions

Ceramic tiles are both heavy and fragile, which means they come with lots of challenges we’d like to address with our conveying belts.

Moving ceramic tiles on traditional belts might easily lead to belt coating degradation, ongoing repairs and costly maintenance. But worry not – ZipGuide belts are designed to safeguard your ceramic tiles at every stage of your production process.

ZipGuide belts are:

– made of high-grip natural rubber and nitrile, providing excellent grip even in wet conditions,

– high-temperature resistant so that they can o transport tiles to kilns,

– abrasion resistant – not easily worn and torn, serve you longer and cost you less,

– possible to enlogate and contract to avoid belt stretching,

– resistant to a wide range of chemicals, including acids, oils, solvents, and alkalis, which prevents belt deterioration and – as above – extends its lifetime.

There is also a broad range of customization options for ZipGuide belts. You can combine diverse top covers and guides, personalizing the belt to precisely to meet your application requirements.

Top cover materials options are as follows:

Lead the change in ceramics industry with Ammeraal Beltech products!

ZipGuide is immune to premature wear, resists abrasion on top covers and ensures superior adhesion. We believe that it’s an alternative to the belts currently found on the market and will ensure efficiency and reliability in every situation.

Contact your local representative and discuss which belt to choose for your own ceramics production site!
